Terpsichore Important First News - The Schedule, Tuition and PLAN!!

First- I will be so happy to see you all in person and on zoom again! Can't wait to start dancing!!

I will be sending emails about all the policies and procedures that Terpsichore will be taking in order to ensure a safe and healthy studio. I will also be updating those procedures as we continuously stay in line with local and federal guidelines. I want us all to stay healthy while we still get to participate in the activities that we love.

Right now we are creating our second home, our new studio, at 1 Mill Pond Lane, Simsbury, CT 06070

It is truly exciting and I can't wait to show you all! There are two dance rooms, two bathrooms with many stalls and lockers, a cozy room, 2 Holding rooms to put shoes and jackets, a costume room or two, a party room, an acting room (so we can alternate rooms during the day), theater movie room.  It is wonderful! I am super super happy :-)

Tuition Prices: 2023-2024 September to June

8 week sessions- 4 times a year

45 min class -$120
60 min class- $130
90 min class- $145
Family plan (take as many as you wish)- $600

The Policies and Procedures With Covid-19 at Terpsichore Dance Studio New Location are on Hold

DROP OFF AND PICK UP

Please arrive no sooner than 15 mins before class.

Drop dancer/s off at the front porch area. 

Please pick up as soon as possible at the end of class!

There is a porch and the following will be on tables below.

WEAR a mask! (there is a box of disposables if you forget yours)

Wash hands!

Spritz body especially feet (like you are putting on perfume or cologne for a very fancy occasion :-))

Wait outside for Melissa to take your temperature.

ONCE INSIDE

Go directly to your cubby to place your things.

Then proceed to your dance room.

There is one bathroom in the hallway leading to classes and two bathroom areas near the big dance room, there are bathrooms with plenty of stalls.

When class is done (or classes if you are taking more than one), you will then gather your belongings and hang under the porch for pick up.

HEALTHY ENVIRONMENT

The studio will disinfect high-touch surfaces, such as door handles and faucets and bathrooms routinely.

Floors will be cleaned daily.

Class sizes will be limited , so please register soon. The only class I knew of to be big was Saturday Jazz Repertoire, so if you are thinking of joining that class- we may need to split up. Let me know :-)

There is no eating in the dance studio unless we are having a party.

STUDENT HEALTH

Students and teachers will be wearing masks at all times.

Students will be 6 ft apart in class and we will figure out all the logistics for going across the floor. Luckily, we have a very nice big studio.

All students need to bring in their own water bottle- with their names labelled!

If you are ill - PLEASE STAY HOME and catch up on Netflix.

If you have been exposed to someone who may possibly have covid-19, or is a confirmed case of covid-19, please do not come to the studio. Instead, please ZOOM the classes.

If you have travelled to one of the "hot states" please quarantine and zoom your classes.

Please Wash hands before and after class.

Avoid touching your face, nose, mouth or eyes. Sneeze in to  your elbow!

Be an active participant in cleaning the space you use and your cubby (leave no bananas behind).

COMMUNICATION

I will be writing emails. I will be sending texts. Updating facebook. Become my friend and join Terpsichore! I will be keeping you up to date.

ALL Students (even if you have been around for 18 years) MUST fill out a registration form and sign the Covid-19 Liability waivers. Thank you.
